Black Panther is not a separate species.it is varient of both Leopard and Jaguar species having high level of black pigments,thats why looks black in colour.

Life style is nocturnal.

It prefers to hunt at night than day.

Species location America,Africa, India ,Bhutan etc.

Blackness of black panther or black leopard is because of excessive presence of a Melanin which intensifes pigmentation. Increased melanin in combination of high temperature, humidity and reduced light.
